Training day 2 @ SSS

• For the first time, we’re picked up from hotel. No taxi required 🙂
• We’re welcomed by Dennis Lischer, a writer from Purdue University in USA (whew, he’s so cute! oops.. he already got a wife >.<). He then introduced things about blogging : how to create an account, choose a template (or even brows from external template provider), etc etc. [9:30]
• It’s time to implement! We started with changing the header. Oops, what the heck does “Crop picture” mean? [10:10]
• As expected, the picture was too large to fit in header slot. Required size was 736 x 229, while our picture was 1500 x something larger than 229. Resizing the picture didn’t solve the problem : it said that there’s a disk error. Seems like Photoshop we used was a mobile one, and since Dennis already took his flash away, there’s nothing to do. • Having moved to H meeting room, we were youtubing using special connection (by default, YouTube is blocked over here). We’re done by successfully adding a YouTube video into our WordPress post. [11:50]
• Now we’re waiting for Farah, an officer (maybe “officer” is not a right choice of word) from MEASAT. It’s lunch time already and we got melon and kerupuk for our pre-launch meal 🙂
• Eventually, RFP asked us to go to Kembang Goela rather than wait Farah’s coming. We then went to Kembang Goela on foot. Ms. Rini was already there. [12:40]
• Lunch time! Es Cau as cooler and Gulai Kepala Ikan as warmer. I was not full already when we went back to SSS (so you’re not satisfied?). [14:20]
• We had photo session with Farah after opened the showcase of gifts we brought from our own origin. These were paint from Urip, woodcraft from Alit, kendang from Sylvi and angklung from Hilman. The worst case scenario happened : Farah realized and said curiously “Once more…?”. I raised my hand and set a regretful face. [15:00]
• We held a brainstorming about what gift we’re gonna give to Mr. Khrisnan collectively, facilitated by Ms. Martha and Yunita. Eventually we’re in agreement with [TBA in the right time].
